The Jacob & Co. Casino Tourbillon is a captivating fusion of haute horlogerie and playful luxury. This extraordinary timepiece, housed in a substantial 44mm 18K rose gold case, showcases a fully functional miniature roulette wheel on its dial, bringing the excitement of Monte Carlo to your wrist. At the heart of this horological marvel is the JCAM51 manual-winding movement, featuring a 60-second flying tourbillon visible at six o'clock. The movement boasts an impressive 72-hour power reserve and is adorned with meticulous hand-finishing, including Côtes de Genève and polished bevels. The dial's centrepiece is the rotating roulette wheel, complete with a white ceramic ball. This complication is not just for show - it can be activated on demand via a pusher at eight o'clock, offering a unique blend of timekeeping and entertainment. Water-resistant to 30 metres, the Casino Tourbillon is secured by an alligator leather strap with an 18K rose gold deployment buckle.

          Exquisite Craftsmanship And Design

Crafted from 18K rose gold with a polished finish, the Jacob & Co. Casino Tourbillon boasts a 44mm diameter and a notable profile measuring 16.3mm thickness. The dial side is protected by a heavily domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment. It features a pusher at eight o'clock for operating its unique roulette wheel complication, whereas the winding crown is missing. Instead, two fold-out tabs on the caseback facilitate winding of the watch and adjusting its hands above a small circular window offering a view of the roulette-themed flying tourbillon. Designed more for elegance than aquatic pursuits, it includes a black alligator leather strap with a matching 18K rose gold buckle and 30 metres of water resistance for daily protection against incidental contact.

          Masterful Mechanics

Powering the Casino Tourbillon is the brand's in-house calibre JCAM51 manual-wind movement. While it retains the signature roulette wheel complication and base calibre design from previous Astronomia models, the Jacob & Co. JCAM51 introduces a new combination of features. Operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz) with a power reserve lasting approximately 72 hours, the JCAM51 is a 24-jewel calibre comprising 268 components. Apart from using fold-out tabs on the caseback for winding and time-setting, the Jacob & Co. JCAM51 incorporates a fully functional mechanical spinning roulette wheel game complication. Additionally, it houses a one-minute flying tourbillon adorned with red, black, and green lacquer inlays on its carriage.

          ABOUT THE MOVEMENT

The exceptional Jacob & Co. Casino Tourbillon features the in-house developed JCAM51 manually wound movement, comprised of 286 components and operating at 21,600bph. Unlike many other Jacob & Co. creations that showcase intricate mechanical details, this timepiece keeps most of its movement hidden, giving prominence to its standout roulette complication. The roulette spins swiftly and smoothly, with the white ceramic ball eventually settling into one of the pockets. The lack of visible movement on the dial side is well compensated through the caseback that offers a glimpse of the 60-second flying tourbillon escapement. The tourbillon cage is adorned with roulette wheel-like slots engraved with the brand name. When fully wound, the JCAM51 movement delivers an impressive 72-hour power reserve.
